1 review for Narrative Assessment Bundle

  1. Becky Amblo

I purchased this bundle last Fall with the intention of “upping my game” in the area of language intervention. I am an SLP in a PreK classroom (dream job) and after reading Tatyana’s blog on the value of wordless picture books last September, I was determined to use narrative assessment and intervention in my PreK work. The Narrative Assessments resource was extremely helpful in getting me to that goal. I referred to it many times last year as I incorporated wordless picture books into my therapy to target IEP language goals.

The other resources in this bundle are also packed with great information. The Understanding Complex Sentences resource is incredibly detailed and has helped me fine tune my analysis of my students’ language samples.

Finally, the Vocabulary Development resource offers simple, proven techniques to teach vocabulary. I have filed it with my consult stash so I can share the strategies with classroom teachers and assistants who have opportunities every day to share quality books with students and support vocabulary development.

If you are interested in increasing your ability to target language in naturalistic activities, you will find this bundle helpful — I did…even before the updates :).
