Tatyana Elleseff MA CCC-SLP

Professional Credentials

Ms. Elleseff graduated New York University Summa Cum Laude with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association with dual speech-language licensure from the states of New York and New Jersey.

She also holds a Teacher Speech and Language Disabled (TSLD) certificate from the state of New York as well as a Speech Language Specialist certificate from the state of New Jersey, which qualifies her to provide speech language services in school settings.

In addition to the above credentials she also holds Bilingual Certification from Columbia University's Teacher College which qualifies her to provide bilingual speech evaluations & services.

Clinical Focus

Ms. Elleseff chose to focus her clinical career on working with children with a variety of developmental and neurogenic disorders in the following settings: schools, hospital/rehabilitation centers, early intervention, and private care. She interned at the prestigious Rose F Kennedy Center (affiliated with Albert Einstein School of Medicine) and the RUSK Rehabilitation Institute (affiliated with the New York University Langone Medical Center) in New York working with children 0-21 years of age with a vast variety of communication disorders, developmental speech/language delays and language-based learning disabilities.

She completed her clinical fellowship working with medically fragile pediatric and young adult population 0-22 years of age with severe multiple disabilities: mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autistic spectrum disorders, emotional disturbances, rare genetic syndromes, severe visual/hearing impairments as well as feeding and swallowing difficulties. During that time she became a member of multi-disciplinary team specializing in augmentative assistive technology (AAC), picture exchange communication (PECS) and adaptive technology, and spent extensive periods of time educating teachers, parents and supporting staff on how to reinforce speech, language & feeding/swallowing skills in severely compromised pediatric populations.

In addition to her private clients Ms. Elleseff also maintains the following hospital based and clinical affiliations. This enables her to keep abreast of the latest techniques and methodology in the discipline of speech language pathology.

She provides comprehensive speech & language evaluations and treatment including group & individual therapy services to children and young adults ages 3-18 diagnosed with constellation of speech/language deficits secondary to psychiatric and emotional disturbances at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/University Behavioral Center - Child and Adolescent Day Program. There she is also a member of a multidisciplinary unit team focused on delivery of psychosocial and behavioral services.

Ms. Elleseff also provides per diem speech and language therapy services at the Children's Specialized Hospital of New Brunswick to children 0-21 years of age with a variety of neurogenic, developmental, and acquired disorders including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, as well as feeding and swallowing deficits.

Additionally, Ms. Elleseff conducts 0-3 early intervention assessments for the Arc of Somerset, an organization dedicated to providing services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities including genetic syndromes, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and autism spectrum disorders.
